I can see why they gave you a pip. Pretty heavy-handed, weren't they? Reminds me of one (count-em-one) homeschool meeting I went to on base. A mother at the meeting commented that she couldn't understand why secular homeschoolers would want to homeschool.
I thought, "Uh, freedom??" but unfortunately did not voice it. I knew I was outnumbered and didn't feel like getting into it.
The people who spammed you are really over the top, though. It's enough to make you a pagan. (Of course, probably to them I am a pagan because I don't read their Bible. EWWWW.)
